Archived Call for Papers and Participation

Third Annual Conference of the Australasian Bayesian Network Modelling Society (ABNMS2011)
November 21 - 22, 2011: Pre-Conference Tutorials
November 23 - 24, 2011: Conference
Mathematical Sciences, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane

Bayesian networks have become a significant tool in a rapidly emerging area of applied Artificial Intelligence in Australasia. The Society has been established to support the use and development of Bayesian networks, to further the technology and advance applications.

The organising committee for ABNMS2011 is pleased to invite submission of abstracts for presentation and posters.

We are in interested hearing about any aspect of modelling with Bayesian Networks. This includes:

  • Applications
  • Bayesian network software tools
  • Knowledge engineering methodologies
  • Elicitation techniques
  • Integrating Bayesian networks into broader decision support systems
  • Learning Bayesian networks from data (parameters and/or structure)
